A Medical Doctor, Gidado Auta, And His Wife, Amina Ahmad, Lost Their Lives In An Inferno In Borno

A medical practitioner identified as Gidado Abubakar Auta lost his life alongside his wife in an inferno in Borno state.

It was gathered that Dr Auta was confirmed dead at the spot yesterday, July 5, while his wife, Dr Amina Ahmad, died at the hospital this morning, July 6.

A source who is familiar with the incident said that the couple worked for the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital.

The source said:

Dr. Gidado Abubakar Auta was a Senior Registrar, Radiology. He was one of the finest Resident Doctor in the Department of Radiology University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH).

The source also confirmed that Dr Amina who was a House Officer in University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital was pregnant when she died.

Funeral prayers will hold today 6th July, 2022 by 10am Opposite Satus Hotel, Lagos Street Maiduguri, Salemgists learned.
