A suspected hoodlum identified as Ezekiel has been arrested by security operatives who were in charge of monitoring the ongoing governorship election in Osun.
The suspect who was arrested with a char was bursted by men of the Nigerian Police in Ilofin area of Ilesha in Osun state.
After investigations, it was reported that the suspect travelled from Lagos to Illesha to work.
The residents also blamed and questioned the police if it was an offence to carry charms.
All security operatives have been deployed to strategic parts of the state. The election, which will be contested by 15 political parties, is expected to be a straight duel between the incumbent governor, Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Senator Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Other candidates in the race are the former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Lasun Yusuf of the Labour Party, Goke Omigbodun of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and Akin Ogunbiyi of Accord Party.
