Afenifere Leader, Fasoranti Counters Obi’s Endorsement, Blesses Tinubu

Bola Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate, arrived in Akure, the capital of Ondo State, on Sunday to deliver his 80-page manifesto to the top officials of Afenifere, a pan-Yoruba sociopolitical organization.

Abiodun Oyebanji, the governor of Ekiti State, as well as Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the deputy governor of Ondo State, and other APC leaders welcomed Tinubu at the Akure airport.

During his meeting with the group, Tinubu received the blessing of the Leader of Afenifere, Pa Reuben Fasoranti.

Tinubu received the blessing on Sunday at the country home of Pa Fasoranti.

The blessing was coming weeks after the acting leader of the group, Ayo Adebanjo, had endorsed the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.
