Prince Olanrewaju Adeyemi Tejuoso (born 1964) is a Nigerian medical doctor, entrepreneur, and politician from Abeokuta. He is the son of Oba Dr. Adedapo Tejuoso, Karunwi III, the Osile of Oke-Ona Egba, and grandson of Iyaloye Bisoye Tejuoso, one of Nigeria’s pioneering female industrialists and the first Iyalode of Egbaland.
Tejuoso qualified as a medical doctor at just 21 years old, making him one of the youngest in Nigeria’s history. Beyond medicine, he founded Avicenna International School and Buckswood School, served on the boards of major companies, and established the Iyalode Bisoye Tejuoso Malaria Foundation to provide free healthcare.
His political journey began in 2007. He later became chairman of the CPC National Convention in 2011, which produced General Muhammadu Buhari as presidential candidate. He served as Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Environment, and Special Duties in Ogun State, where he spearheaded projects like rural solar electrification, water dam upgrades, and the modernisation of the MKO Abiola Stadium.
In 2015, he was elected Senator for Ogun Central under the APC, where he chaired the Senate Committee on Health. In 2021, President Buhari appointed him Pro-Chancellor of the University of Lagos.
He is married to Oloori Moji Tejuoso (née Okoya), daughter of business mogul Chief Razaq Okoya, and they are blessed with children and grandchildren.
