In the trending clip, Sego boasted that APC remains the only party in Lagos, while branding all other political groups as counterfeit.

Lagos State’s NURTW boss, Mustapha Adekunle, also known as Sego has been accused of inciting violence against people living in Lagos after a viral video of him threatening anti-APC voters ahead of the 2027 election surfaced online.

He threatened to punish any voter who votes against the APC.

In the trending clip, Sego boasted that APC remains the only party in Lagos, while branding all other political groups as counterfeit.

He warned his followers never to back any politician outside APC and vowed that what happened in 2023, when APC lost Lagos, would never happen again.

His words were blunt:

“APC is our party in Lagos State. Another party is a counterfeit, whether you like it or not.”

The statement has sparked outrage online, with many Nigerians calling it a direct attack on democracy and a sign of voter intimidation. Some demanded security agencies step in, while others argued Sego was only addressing NURTW members. But critics insist it shows the dangerous level of political interference Lagos voters may face in 2027.

The video continues to spread across social media, with netizens demanding accountability and fair elections as the 2027 polls draw closer.
