Early Life and Education
Malaika grew up in Agege, Lagos State, where his love for music was nurtured in a Quranic school, where he learned Islamic chants and recitations that would later influence his Fuji sound.
Though he received his basic formal education, his passion for music pushed him toward performance at a very young age. By the time he was a teenager, he was already entertaining his community with improvised Fuji performances.

KS1 Malaika hails from a Yoruba Muslim family, where music and culture played a strong role in his upbringing.
