Bayern Munich’s Sporting Director, Christoph Freund, has expressed confidence that Michael Olise could be a long-term part of the club’s future, amid growing speculation about the French winger’s next move.

Speaking about Olise’s future, Freund said the club is under no pressure to make any immediate decisions and is optimistic about his development at Bayern.

According to Fabrizio Romano’s post on Monday, Freund said, “Bayern director Freund on Michael Olise’s future: ‘We’re not under any pressure. We can imagine him playing for Bayern for the next 7, 8, 9 years. “Michael has a long-term contract, he proved himself and took steps forward”, said Sky90.”

Olise, who joined Bayern from Crystal Palace, has been a standout performer, attracting attention across Europe with his technical ability and creativity.

His current contract ties him to the Bundesliga giants until 2029.

Freund’s comments appear aimed at cooling down transfer rumours ahead of the January window, as clubs across England and Spain reportedly monitor the winger’s situation.
