News PHOTOS: Four children d!e, others injured as vehicle plunges into stream in Benue Published 6 months ago on January 2, 2026 By Oluwagbenga Olaoye Four children have d!ed after a vehicle plunged into a stream in Benue State. The accident occurred on New Year Day along Zaki-Biam- Afia Road, near Saaor settlement. The driver, identified as Saaondo Msulaga, stated that he had slowed down to collect water from a stream when the incident occurred. He explained that upon reaching the area, a tyre burst, causing the vehicle to swerve and plunge into the stream. Several other passengers sustained injuries and were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment. The vehicle remained submerged in the water at the time of filing this report.
