Human rights lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, has mocked controversial Islamic scholar, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, following the death of Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei.

It was recalls that the 86-year-old Khamenei was killed on Saturday in air strikes jointly carried out by Israel and the United States.

The airstrike was part of a large-scale operation in the heart of Tehran.

Reacting to the demise, Gumi, in a Facebook post, described the deceased, Iran’s Supreme Leader, as “a lucky soul” who “died in jihad.”

Gumi said Khamenei died in jihad against the killers of innocent children and women in Gaza and elsewhere.

He added that Khamenei’s blood will fuel the change in the ummah, noting that the Iranian leader stood firmly for justice and didn’t hide in bunkers.

Responding to Gumi’s remarks, Adeyanju, in a post via his 𝕏, mocked the controversial Islamic cleric, stating that he and other terrorist sympathisers in Nigeria are crying over the death of a ‘demon’.

Adeyanju further described Iran as a weak and defenceless country.

He wrote, “Gumi and other terrorist sympathisers in Nigeria are crying, the demon of Iran is gone.

“Iran makes too much noise for such a weak and defenseless country. Why is their airspace so weak like this? US announced it will attack Iran and still they couldn’t stop all these explosions.

“Why was it so easy for US and Israel to kill the demon of Iran? And why do Israel and US have easy access to Iranian airspace to be attacking them at will after all the noise Iran makes all the time?”
