Tinubu Loyalist Defends First Lady Over “Iya Alakara” Trolls | Says Local Businesses Are Thriving
A supporter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reacted to the online trolling of Nigeria’s First Lady, who has been nicknamed “Iya Alakara” by some social media users.
In this video, he urges Nigerians to look beyond the mockery and focus on what he describes as the positive impact of grants reportedly disbursed to small business owners. According to him, businesses producing local delicacies such as akara, kulikuli, kilishi, and other indigenous products are creating opportunities, with some entrepreneurs exporting these products abroad and earning significant income.
He argues that instead of ridiculing initiatives aimed at supporting small businesses, Nigerians should celebrate entrepreneurship, economic empowerment, and the growing global demand for locally made products.
