Senator representing Osun East Senatorial District, Francis Fadahunsi, has arrived at the Osun State Police Command headquarters in Osogbo for questioning over alleged inciting comments.
Fadahunsi arrived at about 2:35 p.m. on Wednesday, accompanied by the Commissioner of Police in charge of election and security, Samuel Erale, Channels TV reports.
The senator was invited by the police authorities following alleged comments made against members of the Accord Party in Ilesa.
The police had earlier warned political actors against inflammatory statements capable of heightening tensions ahead of Saturday’s governorship election.
