Life is short, and none of us knows how many days we have been given. While we are here, let us choose to do good, show kindness, help those in need, forgive others, and leave behind a positive legacy. People may forget our possessions, but they will remember the love, kindness, and good deeds we showed them.
The Bible reminds us:
“So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”
— Psalm 90:12 (KJV)
Our time on earth is precious. We should not waste it on hatred, bitterness, pride, or unnecessary conflicts. Instead, let our lives become a blessing to others.
“As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men.”
— Galatians 6:10 (KJV)
Do good when you have the opportunity. Help someone who is struggling. Encourage someone who is discouraged. Give to those in need. Speak words that heal rather than words that destroy.
“He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.”
— Proverbs 19:17 (KJV)
Remember, a good name is more valuable than great wealth.
“A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.”
— Proverbs 22:1 (KJV)
You may not be remembered for how much money you had, how expensive your possessions were, or how powerful you became. But people may remember the kindness you showed, the lives you touched, and the help you gave when someone needed you.
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
— Matthew 5:16 (KJV)
Life is short. Do good while you can. Love while you can. Help while you can. Forgive while you can. Be a blessing while you can.
One day, our time on earth will end, but the good we have done may continue to speak through the lives we touched.
Live a life that leaves behind beautiful memories, a good name, and a testimony that points people to God.
