Some men just love getting women pregnant everywhere without taking responsibility for the children they bring into the world.
Having children should never be treated like a competition or a sign of masculinity. Bringing a child into the world comes with a lifelong responsibility that goes far beyond the moment of conception.
A child needs more than a biological father. A child needs love, attention, guidance, protection, education, emotional support, and financial care.
Unfortunately, some men are excited when they hear, “I’m pregnant,” but once the baby arrives, their excitement disappears. They move on to another relationship, another woman, and sometimes another pregnancy—while the children they already have are left struggling.
Being a father is not about how many children you can father. It is about how many children you are willing and able to raise properly.
Before bringing a child into this world, a man should ask himself:
Can I provide for this child?
Can I be present in this child’s life?
Can I support the mother?
Can I provide emotional stability?
Am I prepared for the responsibility that may last for decades?
Children should not have to suffer because adults made irresponsible decisions.
There is nothing impressive about having many children if you refuse to take care of them. Real fatherhood requires commitment, sacrifice, consistency and responsibility.
And this message is not only for men. Women also have a responsibility to think carefully about the kind of person they choose to have children with.
Bringing a child into the world is easy. Raising that child properly is the real responsibility.
What do you think? Should people be financially and emotionally prepared before having children, or should they simply trust that things will work out? 👇🏾
