Senator Abdulaziz Yari Arrives in Lagos as Tinubu 2027 Consultations Continue
The Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, has arrived in Lagos as consultations and stakeholder engagements ahead of the 2027 presidential election continue across Nigeria.
Yari was received by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, alongside a high-powered delegation of senior APC leaders and political stakeholders.
The delegation also paid a courtesy visit to the Oba of Lagos, His Royal Majesty Oba Rilwan Akiolu, at Iga Idunganran Palace, seeking his counsel, prayers and royal blessings as the Tinubu 2027 campaign consultations continue.
The Lagos engagement comes amid wider political consultations ahead of the 2027 general elections, with discussions focusing on stakeholder engagement, political mobilisation and the future direction of the APC presidential campaign.
