You shout at them to be respectful, yet you disrespect others. You warn them against dishonesty, yet they watch you lie without blinking. You demand discipline, yet your own actions contradict every lesson you try to teach.
Then, when your children begin to display the same behaviours they have watched you practise, you become shocked, disappointed, and angry!

Dear parents, your children are not just listening to your instructions. They are watching how you speak, how you treat people, how you handle anger, how you respond to pressure, and how you behave when you think nobody is watching.
You may be raising your children with your words, but you are also shaping them with your actions.
And one day, you may hear your own words coming out of their mouths, see your own habits reflected in their behaviour, and recognise your own attitude in their character.
