Some people proudly announce to the world, **”I am a good father!” or “I am a good mother!”** Yet they cannot provide for their own children, cannot make sacrifices for them, and are nowhere to be found when those children need love, care, guidance, and support.
Meanwhile, another person is carrying the responsibilities they have abandoned!
**LET’S TELL OURSELVES THE BITTER TRUTH!**
Giving birth to a child does not automatically make you a responsible parent!
A child needs more than your surname, your blood, or your occasional appearance in their life.
**Where were you when that child was hungry?**
**Where were you when school fees needed to be paid?**
**Where were you when that child was sick, crying, or desperately needed parental love?**
Someone else was there, making sacrifices, losing sleep, spending money, and giving that child the attention you failed to provide.
Yet you walk around proudly claiming the title of a wonderful parent!
**PARENTHOOD IS NOT A TITLE TO BOAST ABOUT. IT IS A RESPONSIBILITY TO FULFIL!**
Of course, some parents face genuine financial difficulties, separation, illness, or circumstances beyond their control. Receiving help does not make someone a bad parent.
But deliberately abandoning your responsibilities while taking credit for another person’s sacrifices is a different matter entirely!
**STOP CLAIMING THE GLORY OF PARENTHOOD WHEN YOU HAVE ABANDONED THE DUTIES THAT COME WITH IT!**
Children may forget the expensive gifts they received, but they rarely forget who stood beside them when they needed someone most.
**NOW, LET’S TALK!**
**WHO DESERVES MORE RESPECT: THE PERSON WHO GAVE BIRTH TO A CHILD BUT NEGLECTED THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES, OR THE PERSON WHO SACRIFICED EVERYTHING TO RAISE THAT CHILD?**
**Can someone truly call themselves a good parent when another person is doing everything for their children?**
**SPEAK YOUR MIND! THE TRUTH MAY BE UNCOMFORTABLE, BUT IT MUST BE TOLD!**
