Cote d’Ivoire will now host the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, DAILY POST reports.
The competition was initially scheduled to be staged in South Africa.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced Cote d’Ivoire as the new host at the end of its executive committee meeting in Marrakech, Morocco.
The competition will hold in March, 2025.
The Flying Eagles of Nigeria are among the teams that will compete at the competition.
The semi-finalists at the U-20 AFCON will advance to the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup to be hosted by Chile.
