The chairman of the Katcha local government area of Niger State, Danlami Abdullahi Saku, has d!ed in a fatal auto crash in the Kwakwuti area along the Minna-Suleja road in the state on Tuesday, December 10.
Confirming the incident in a statement late Tuesday night, the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Niger State governor, Bologi Ibrahim, said his principal, Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, received the news with rude shock, describing the Saku’s death as heartbreaking.
He said the demise of Saku is a sharp reminder that all creatures are from Allah and unto Him they will return at the appointed time.
The governor, therefore, commiserated with the family of the deceased, the people of Katcha local government area, and the entire State over the loss.
He encouraged the people to remain steadfast in the will of Allah at all times, as He is perfect in all things.
