He openly questioned gullible Nigerians deceived by fake pastors to list their achievements in 2024.
Pastor Bayo Oluwayemi has lashed out at fake prophets who deliver misleading prophecies to deceive Nigerians.
The Senior Pastor of The Word International Christian Centre, popularly known as Wonders’ Chapel, took to his Church’s Instagram page to condemn the practice of giving “make-believe” prophecies without substance.
He openly questioned gullible Nigerians deceived by fake pastors to list their achievements in 2024.
“Last year, they said this year is your year; what have you achieved? They know how to package prophecy to deceive you,” Pastor Oluwayemi stated while accusing some prophets of skillfully crafting prophecies that mislead unsuspecting members.
“There are some prophets they are supposed to arrest for making promises that do not come to pass. When they said this year is your year, what is your agenda? What did you lay your hands on? You didn’t learn a trade, go to school, or take any productive steps—it is a deception,” Pastor Bayo stated.
The preacher emphasized that faith without action is ineffective, urging his audience to take personal responsibility for their progress.
“Until you move, nothing may move!” he concluded, encouraging members to focus on tangible efforts to achieve their goals.
The message has sparked discussions online, with many commending Pastor Oluwayemi for addressing a sensitive issue while encouraging self-development and accountability within the faith community.
