YOU ARE NOT AS PERFECT AS YOU THINK — SO WHY ARE YOU SO QUICK TO JUDGE OTHERS?

Some people behave as if they were appointed by God to judge the entire world, yet they have never taken an honest look at their own lives.

They know everybody else’s mistakes but refuse to acknowledge their own weaknesses. They are quick to condemn, quick to criticize, and quick to spread stories about other people’s failures.

But when the spotlight turns toward them, suddenly, they have excuses.

**WHY IS IT SO EASY TO SEE THE DIRT ON ANOTHER PERSON’S FACE WHILE IGNORING THE DIRT ON YOUR OWN?**

You criticize someone’s marriage, but is your own relationship built on honesty and respect?

You condemn someone for lying, but have you always told the truth?

You call someone arrogant, but have you examined the pride in your own heart?

You expose another person’s past, but are you proud of everything in yours?

You judge people by their public mistakes while forgetting that your own private behaviour may tell a completely different story.

Let us be honest: some people do not correct others because they genuinely care about righteousness. They do it because judging others makes them feel superior.

They need somebody else’s failure to feel good about themselves.

But here is the uncomfortable truth: **POINTING OUT ANOTHER PERSON’S WRONGDOING DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY MAKE YOU A RIGHTEOUS PERSON.**

You can condemn sin and still be guilty of hypocrisy. You can quote the Bible and still fail to practise its teachings. You can preach morality to the world while neglecting the character you display behind closed doors.

Jesus said in Matthew 7:5 (KJV):

*“Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye…”*

The message is powerful: examine yourself before rushing to condemn another person.

This does not mean that wrongdoing should be ignored. It means that correction should come with humility, fairness, and a willingness to hold yourself to the same standard you demand of others.

The world does not need more people who are experts at exposing other people’s weaknesses. It needs more people who are courageous enough to confront their own.

**NEWSBREAK365 ASKS:**

Are people who constantly judge others genuinely concerned about morality, or are some simply hiding their own imperfections behind the mistakes of others?
