A disturbing video making the rounds shows alleged members of an okada theft syndicate in Ibadan, reportedly using a large wooden pestle to attack and render victims unconscious before making away with their motorcycles.

According to the information accompanying the video, ₦34 million was reportedly traced to their account, which they allegedly claimed came from proceeds of their criminal activities.

This is a serious warning to commercial motorcyclists, riders, passengers and residents across Ibadan and Oyo State. Please remain vigilant and avoid isolated areas whenever possible.
