What started as an inspection turned into a dramatic showdown.

Plot 1946, Buffer Transit Southern Park Way – the contested land alleged to be linked to retired Awwal Zubairu Gambo, former Chief of Naval Staff.

According to the FCT Administration (FCTA), there’s no valid allocation, no building approval and no title documents underpinning this development.
Wike confronted the military personnel: “You cannot be higher than any government. You cannot carry a gun to intimidate anybody.”

The soldiers maintained they were acting on orders.
