Video of Lagos–Benin–Ore Expressway: How Did We Get Here? 😢

Published

on

A viral video showing an SUV sinking into muddy water on the Lagos–Benin–Ore Expressway has once again exposed the painful reality of years of neglect.

This is one of Nigeria’s most strategic highways, connecting Lagos to the South-South and South-East and carrying millions of travellers, families, businesses and goods every year. Yet, sections of this critical road have been allowed to deteriorate to this deplorable condition.

How can a major national highway become this bad? And more importantly, how long are Nigerians expected to endure this?

Infrastructure is not a luxury. Good roads save lives, reduce travel time, support businesses and strengthen the economy.

Nigeria must rethink its priorities. Our roads deserve urgent attention. 🇳🇬

What do you think about the state of the Lagos–Benin–Ore Expressway? Share your thoughts in the comments.
