The Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Abdulaziz, has died at the age of 82.

According to a statement from the Royal Court, the revered cleric passed away on Tuesday morning.

Born in Mecca in November 1943, Sheikh Abdulaziz rose to become one of the most influential religious authorities in the Kingdom.

He served as head of the General Presidency of Scholarly Research and Ifta, as well as the Supreme Council of the Muslim World League.

He was the third cleric to occupy the office of Grand Mufti after Sheikh Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Shaikh and Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Baz.

In its tribute, the Royal Court said King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman had extended condolences to the Sheikh’s family, the people of Saudi Arabia, and the wider Muslim world.

“With his passing, the Kingdom and the Islamic world have lost a distinguished scholar who made significant contributions to the service of science, Islam, and Muslims,” the statement read.

A funeral prayer is scheduled to be held at the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque in Riyadh after the Asr prayer on Tuesday.

King Salman has also directed that funeral prayers be observed simultaneously at the Grand Mosque in Makkah, the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina, and in all mosques across the Kingdom.

The Grand Mufti is regarded as Saudi Arabia’s most senior and authoritative religious figure. Appointed by the King, the officeholder also chairs the Permanent Committee for Islamic Research and Issuing Fatwas.

🔥 HERE’S A HARD TRUTH: SHARING YOUR BLOOD DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT SOMEONE WILL STAND BY YOU.

You can share the same parents, surname, ancestry, royal lineage, or family history—and still discover that support does not always come from those closest to you.

When life is comfortable, family bonds can feel unbreakable. But when hardship arrives, actions often speak louder than family titles or bloodlines.

Sometimes, a person with no blood connection to you will offer the encouragement, sacrifice, or assistance that you desperately needed.

That does not make family meaningless. It simply reminds us that true loyalty is demonstrated through actions, not claimed through relationships.

💬 Be honest: If a non-relative consistently stands by you while your relatives do not, what does “family” really mean?

HARSH TRUTH: YOUR PAST CAN BECOME YOUR PRISON!

Published

Some people are not being held back by their enemies.
They are being held back by memories they refuse to let go of.

You keep talking about what happened years ago.
You keep blaming the people who hurt you.
You keep thinking about the opportunities you lost.
You keep wishing you could change yesterday.

But while you are busy looking backward, time is moving forward without you. ⏳

Nobody can go back and rewrite the past.

But you can wake up TODAY and decide:

❌ I will stop living in regret.
❌ I will stop allowing yesterday to control today.
❌ I will stop waiting for the past to change.

✅ I will learn from it.
✅ I will grow from it.
✅ I will move forward.

The past is a chapter. It is NOT the whole book.

🚨 If you continue to dwell in the past, you may remain stuck while the world keeps moving forward.

Your next chapter is waiting.

BE HONEST: Are you moving forward, or are you still living in your past? 👇🔥
