Security remains a top priority in Ilorin East Local Government, and this video captures the prompt response of the Executive Chairman, Amb. Mallam Garba Olayinka Lukman Agbelere, to a security concern raised by residents of the At-Taqwah Community along Ile-Apa Road, Oke-Ose, Ilorin.

After receiving a formal complaint about a bushy palm tree plantation suspected to be a potential hideout for criminals, the Chairman immediately mobilized the Ilorin East Local Government Vigilante Team for an on-the-spot assessment. He also personally visited the location to inspect the area, engage residents, and reassure them of the administration’s unwavering commitment to protecting lives and property.

This proactive intervention reflects a leadership that listens, acts swiftly, and prioritizes the safety and well-being of every resident across Ilorin East.

VIDEO – VP SHETTIMA RETURNS TO NIGERIA AFTER AU SUMMIT IN ANGOLA

Vice President Kashim Shettima has returned to Nigeria after representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the 21st Extraordinary Session of the African Union (AU) Assembly of Heads of State and Government in Luanda, Angola.

During the high-level summit, Nigeria pushed for stronger African-led solutions to conflicts, improved mechanisms for conflict prevention and resolution, and urgent action against recurring xenophobic and Afrophobic attacks affecting Africans and other nationals in South Africa.

Nigeria also supported the Luanda Action Plan and advocated sustainable financing for Africa’s peace and security architecture, stronger collective responsibility among AU member states, and greater African ownership of solutions to the continent’s challenges.

VP Shettima has now returned to Abuja, Nigeria, following the conclusion of his diplomatic engagements in Angola.
