2027: ‘Behave yourself’ – Seyi Tinubu blasts Isaac Fayose for criticising City Boys’ walk in PH

Published

on

President Bola Tinubu’s son, Seyi Tinubu, has launched a scathing attack on businessman, Isaac Fayose for criticising the Port Harcourt City Boy walk.

In a post on his Instagram handle on Sunday, Seyi asked Fayose to behave himself.

He said Fayose had no reason to attack the walk, which he described as a peaceful gathering of young people showing support for the President.

Recall that Isaac Fayose, the younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, had earlier mocked the Port Harcourt walk.

Fayose also questioned the crowd and the purpose of the walk, saying it was a waste of time.

However, Seyi did not take the criticism lightly as he fired back and warned Fayose to stop looking for attention with the President’s name.

“Behave yourself,” Seyi told Fayose.

According to him, the City Boy walk in Port Harcourt was organised by youths who believe in the Tinubu administration, saying they have the right to walk, sing, and show support without being insulted.

Seyi said Fayose should respect the choice of young Nigerians who decided to come out in Port Harcourt.

He also said those who do not like the walk should stay away instead of trying to spoil it for others.

Primate Ayodele releases fresh prophecies on UN, EU, IMF, UNICEF, others

Published

on

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has released fresh prophecies concerning major international organisations, including the United Nations, UN, European Union, EU, International Monetary Fund, IMF, United Nations Children’s Fund, UNICEF, North Atlantic Treaty Organization, NATO, and other global institutions.

In a statement signed by the prophet’s head of communications, Osho Oluwatosin, the prophecies, which highlight possible developments and challenges facing these organisations, cover issues ranging from leadership changes, internal crises, funding, international conflicts and institutional reforms to disagreements among member countries.

Primate Ayodele warned that some of the organisations would face significant challenges in their operations, while others would experience leadership changes, criticism and internal disagreements.

Speaking on the UN, the prophet foresees the emergence of another agency within the organisation, alongside an increase in its funding. However, he warned that the global body would need prayers against possible attacks on its members and the loss of some of its member countries.

According to him, Africa’s ambition to secure a permanent seat on the UN Security Council would also encounter additional challenges despite efforts to achieve the objective.

He said, “There is going to be another agency inside the UN. Moreover, the UN will get more funding than before. They will have to pray not to lose any members or be attacked by any of its members. Africa will fight to get a permanent seat in the UN, but it will face extra challenges. The UN will get more support from other nations.”

On the World Health Organization, WHO, Primate Ayodele sees a leadership change, saying the organisation would get a new head.

He also warned that UNICEF would face conspiracy and several challenges, while the African representative of the United Nations Development Programme, UNDP, would need to seek divine intervention.

Speaking about NATO and the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict, the prophet declared a major disappointment for the military alliance and Ukraine, warning that both would encounter critical challenges.

He stated that Russia would not allow Ukraine to join NATO, adding that the organisation would experience internal problems, particularly in its relationship with the administration of US President Donald Trump. He also predicted a change in NATO’s leadership.

His words: “NATO and Ukraine will have a big disappointment. They will face critical challenges especially with this Ukraine war. Russia will not allow Ukraine to join and participate in NATO. The organization will face quite a lot of problems, and NATO will experience problems with Trump’s government, and there will be a change of leadership.”

For the European Union, Primate Ayodele foretold efforts to bring the United Kingdom closer to the bloc, potentially paving the way for renewed relations following Brexit.

However, he warned that the organisation would introduce policies that might not go down well with some members. He added that although the EU would continue supporting and protecting its member countries, some of them might consider withdrawing from the union if care was not taken.

The prophet also revealed that the EU’s leadership would face allegations of fraud.

He said, “The body will draw the UK closer to bring them back to the union. There will be different policies that won’t be palatable. They will be supporting and protecting their members, and if care isn’t taken, some members will withdraw. The leadership will be accused of fraud.”

On the International Monetary Fund, IMF, the cleric predicted growing criticism over the interest rates charged on its loans, alongside a major conflict within the institution.

According to him, the financial institution would face protests, unexpected developments, and disappointment over its inability to recover loans as expected.

He further warned that the IMF would encounter several hurdles in 2027.

His words: “The IMF will be criticized because of interest on their loans, and there will be a major conflict in the body. They will protest against them, they will see a shock, and they will also be disappointed as loans will not be recovered as expected. A lot of hurdles will face them in 2027.”

Speaking about the Group of Twenty, G-20, Primate Ayodele noted that the organisation would struggle to maintain global order, with internal divisions and crises potentially affecting its effectiveness.

He attributed the disagreements to greed and attempts to undermine some leaders within the group.

Interestingly, the prophet spoke about the possible emergence of a powerful group of leaders who would identify themselves as G-9 at a much later time. He noted that the group would wield significant influence and perform functions that the G-20 would be unable to carry out, thereby reducing the latter’s impact.

He stated, “They will face a lot of challenges trying to make sure everything is in order, but it may be difficult to do this. The G-20 will have crisis and division among themselves because of greediness and maligning of some set of leaders. At a much later time, some group of leaders will call themselves G-9 and they will be very powerful and do what G-20 cannot do, and will reduce their impact.”

On the International Criminal Court, ICC, the prophet said that the institution would undertake significant activities but would also face attempts to embarrass it.

He said the court would undergo reorganisation and efforts would be made to put certain things in their proper places. Despite the challenges, he made it known that the ICC would receive greater powers to implement and execute its judgments.

His words: “This body will do a lot of work, but they will want to embarrass them. They will be reorganized and put some things in the proper place. They will struggle to make their place stand. ICC will get more power to implement and execute any judgment.”

Oil Wells: Churches Deny Claim Against Kumuyi, Adeboye, Oyedepo

Published

on

The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Living Faith Church Worldwide and the Deeper Christian Life Ministry have reacted to an allegation that former President Olusegun Obasanjo allocated oil wells to their leaders during his administration.

The allegation was made by the founder and President of the Ministers’ Prayer Network, Rev. Mosy Madugba, who claimed that Obasanjo allocated oil wells to prominent Nigerian pastors, including the General Overseer of the RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye; the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo; and the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi.

The claim, contained in a sermon circulating on social media, has generated controversy, with some Nigerians questioning the integrity of the religious leaders and others demanding evidence to substantiate the allegations.

In the video, Madugba alleged that some prominent pastors in Lagos benefited from oil wells allocated to them by Obasanjo during his presidency

He said, “I don’t know whether you know that the big names you have in Lagos have oil wells. Obasanjo gave them oil wells. The head of Winners’ Chapel has an oil well, Adeboye has an oil well, Kumuyi has an oil well. They have universities, they have big hospitals. They have schools, and except Kumuyi, they have private jets.”

However, a senior media aide to Pastor Kumuyi, who spoke on condition of anonymity to Sunday PUNCH, dismissed the claim as ridiculous, insisting that the cleric had no interest in such business ventures.

The official said Kumuyi should not be associated with oil exploration or similar business interests, stressing that the cleric was wholly devoted to preaching the gospel and winning souls.

He said, “Let us be frank, does Pastor Kumuyi look like somebody that will be interested in an oil well? Does he look like someone who would toy with such things? Pastor Kumuyi is devoted to the core; he is devoted to the work of God that he is being called into.

“So, the fact that somebody mentioned somewhere that Obasanjo gave him an oil well is ridiculous; we don’t get involved in those things. Our focus is the gospel, how to win souls for the kingdom of God and prepare for heaven; therefore, this is not the kind of thing that he would get involved in.”

Similarly, the Director of Media at Living Faith Church Worldwide, Patrick Nkamiang, dismissed the allegations, arguing that oil wells were not the personal property of a president to be distributed arbitrarily to individuals.

He questioned the basis of Madugba’s claims, noting that Nigeria’s petroleum resources were governed by laws and regulations.

Nkamiang said, “Oil wells are not that cheap to give away, nor are they the personal property of the President that he can just give to anybody.

“Even if oil wells were that cheap as of the time that he said that they were giving out oil wells, what’s the value of an oil well then? Oil wells do not even belong to Obasanjo, for him to be sharing? They are natural resources that are governed by the Federal Republic of Nigeria. You cannot just give them away as you like.”

Nkamiang maintained that Oyedepo had a zero-tolerance policy towards gifts and donations that could not be traced to legitimate personal or internally generated income.

He, however, ruled out the possibility of the church taking legal action against Madugba, saying it would rather leave the matter to God.

Also reacting, an official in the media unit of the RCCG, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the church would not respond to the allegation until Madugba provided evidence to substantiate his claims.

When Sunday PUNCH contacted Madugba’s church for a response, an official identified as Blessing Madugba, said, “We will get back to you.”

Efforts to obtain Obasanjo’s reaction through his Special Assistant on Media, Kehinde Akinyemi, were unsuccessful, as he neither answered calls nor responded to messages sent to him as of the time of filing this report.

Meanwhile, the allegations have generated mixed reactions on social media, with some users expressing concern about their implications for the credibility and independence of religious leaders.

Other users challenged Madugba to provide verifiable details of the alleged oil wells, arguing that such assets could not easily be concealed.

No documentary evidence establishing that Obasanjo allocated oil wells to the three pastors was presented in the circulating video.

Published

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has commissioned the historic Bodo-Bonny Road in Rivers State, bringing to reality a 76-year-old dream conceived in 1950 but left unrealised for generations.

The commissioning took place on November 7, 2026, during the Presidential Campaign Council event in Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The 37.9-kilometre road, completed at a total cost of ₦280 billion, features approximately three kilometres of bridges across the Opobo Channel and provides the people of Bonny with a direct, modern engineered road connection to Bodo and the wider road network.

Speaking during the commissioning, the Honourable Minister of Works, Senator Engr. David Umahi, CON, expressed great excitement as he announced that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had not only completed the project but had also approved its extension to the East-West Road.

“In a further demonstration of his commitment to expanding road connectivity, President Tinubu has also approved an additional 8.9-kilometre dual carriageway extension, translating to 17.8 kilometres using reinforced concrete pavement to connect the road to the East-West Road.

“The extension will further enhance connectivity, ease transportation and open up greater economic opportunities for communities and businesses along the route.

“At an average cost of approximately ₦7.4 billion per kilometre, the project is a major engineering investment, particularly with the construction of the extensive bridges across the Opobo Channel.”
